Home schooling requires someone to act as a teacher that can be relied upon to prepare lesson plans and make sure children are learning what they should for their age and grade group. This can be done a number of different ways:

She is much more prepared than I, but, then again, she has a gigantic binder crammed with every lesson plan the previous teacher used last year. My drawer is quite empty, and even the materials left behind are not much help ever since
